We’ve driven past the dome of St. Patrick’s Church for the last 17 years. It’s that wonderful tawny-colored church whose tip-top you see when you get on the I405 from NW Thurman. Seth and Andrea chose St. Patrick’s Church for their September wedding last year.
We were so pleased to finally see the interior. It’s like the inside of a jewel box. The day we photographed there, golden light spilled in the side windows, giving everything a honey-colored sheen. It’s smaller than many churches, which is nice when you’re having 100-175 guests; they won’t feel swallowed up by the interior.
After the wedding, the double circular stairway was the perfect spot for photos of the wedding party. Seth and Andrea took a stroll on the Park Blocks before joining their reception at the Portland Art Museum.
