“ooooh, shoes!”

My girlfriend, Lisa, is a master shopper. She can cut a swath through the grottiest discount store and come up with a brilliant outfit–shoes and all–for a pittance.  So whenever I’m editing and come across a particularly gorgeous pair of shoes, I think of Lisa. Then I think of shopping. And then I feel like grabbing my purse and taking the afternoon off at Nordstrom’s, then maybe a pedicure and a glass of wine at Southpark……

Ah, But I digress.

Shoes. Is there anything better on the planet? First off, they’re small, you can fit lots in your closet. So you really can never have enough. Amazingly, shoes can actually make you feel pretty. (I’ve never understood the transformative power of how putting something on your feet, can make your face look better–but it does happen. I’m certain.) And, the right pair can make your a$$ look fantastic. Given all that, I could understand if shoes cost $11,435 per pair. Here’s a few lovlies for you:
