The fact that it was cold and foggy outside made John and Larissa’s wedding celebration in Cannon Beach feel especially cozy. The small, wood-paneled church made a lovely setting for the ceremony, which was officiated by a family friend. Larissa was a beautiful & glowing bride and John the mellowest groom ever.
After the ceremony, our plan was to spend some time on...

If you’re planning your 2009 wedding, you might check out “The Art of Weddings” Boutique Bridal Event. It’s billed as “a swankier kind of bridal show”, which certainly makes sense to me. I expect this to be a fun, stylish event where you can check out a bundle of wedding oriented vendors all at once....

We met Allison Kelleher on Sunday at event attended by some wedding industry folks. I tell you, there are two words I’m mesmerized by. One is “shoes” and the other is “cupcakes”. She introduced herself as “Cupcake Mama” and with that, she had my full attention.
I’ve had her yummies at a wedding and feel fully...

What a sweet and charming wedding this was. Alison and John married at dusk in the teeny tiny Old Church in Sellwood and then after celebrated with friends and family upstairs at Kell’s. Since Alison is an event planner herself, when it came time to consider her own wedding, she aimed for something small, simple...

Best wedding dogs ever! Angela and Jeremy had their two little Boston terriers as wedding attendants (although I don’t think they got to attend the reception.) ohmygosh, they were adorable. Small, too. I was considering putting one in my camera bag, but then thought better of that idea.
Jeremy and Angela are from Colorado, but apparently...

Amy is the most easygoing bride I have ever met. And that’s amazing, given that this couple and their wedding planner pulled this gorgeous wedding together in only about 8 weeks. She and her husband Jon are the sweetest, mellowest, kindest couple. Everything was beautiful and relaxed at the setting, which was Jon’s family home. They...

Imagine if Portland’s largest outdoor festival was being held on the front porch of your wedding venue? Suzette explained that we should probably rethink heading to the Waterfront for photos after the ceremony since 25 GAZILLION PEOPLE would already be there for the Luis Palau celebration. But we needn’t have worried, since everything went off...

I can’t recall any wedding that was more fun to shoot, or one where I was happier with the images than Jennifer and Andy’s. The whole day was epic and amazing and a blast to photograph. In many ways, it was like a good movie. Great backdrops and plot twists, a lovely leading lady and a devilishly...
